A 10-day Japan itinerary, unhurried
Tokyo, Kyoto, a side trip, and one open day. A vegan-friendly itinerary that leaves room to wander, eat slowly, and rest.

Fewer places, longer stays, more meals at small tables. Vegan-friendly cities, gentle itineraries, and trips that feel restorative.

Travel changed for me when I stopped trying to collect places and started trying to taste them slowly. A good trip is the market stall where you learn a new fruit, the quiet street you walk twice, the vegan cafe that makes you feel less far from home, and the evening you leave open on purpose.
The Japan itinerary is the pillar essay, it shows the philosophy in practice. The other essays support it: how to plan slowly, where to go as a vegan, what to pack, and how to come home gently.
